We are so excited to share the group exhibition
Lines of the Land with you...
The exhibition champions the mesmerising work of painters
Katy Sawrey, Connie Liebschner and Erraid Gaskell.

Connie Liebschner "Milk Wash 02"
The landscape takes centre-stage as the artists experiment with form, colour and gestural mark-making to convey interpretations of their surroundings. This collection of work explores their individual perceptions of dreams, memories and surrounding environment offering a fresh perspective to classical scenes.
Painting is used as a vehicle for reimagining and constructing contemporary narratives of landscapes. There are similarities and overlaps in the artists practices. Multiple, overlapping hues of acrylics are layered into three responses that reflect their surrounding environments.

Erraid Gaskell "The Stillness of Night"
All three artists explore texture and layering in their work. Katy integrates materials collected from each location, establishing a direct connection to the landscape. Connie uses layered translucent tones and textures to capture the fluidity of water and its relationship with light. Erraid overlaps pastels and paint over tissue paper to create depth and vastness in her dreamlike landscapes evoking a sense of memory and imagination, blending the familiar with the surreal.

Katy Sawrey "It's a New Day"
Lines of the Land brings their work together, showcasing fresh and distinctive perspectives that reimagine and redefine the essence of our surrounding landscape.
