We are delighted to share our current exhibition with you.
Madeleine Hand & Peter Foyle brings together two remarkable artists, each with their own distinctive style. Both artists have backgrounds in illustration and a unique ability to transform everyday moments into timeless scenes, each offering their own approach to storytelling.

Madeleine’s delicate compositions celebrate the quiet beauty of rural life, using subtle patterns and soft washes of colour to evoke nostalgia and a deep connection to nature. In contrast, Peter’s vibrant cityscapes and still-lifes are alive with movement and light, infusing familiar places with warmth and energy.

In this exhibition, we are excited to present some very special, unique pieces. Alongside Peter's classic Mediterranean scenes, we are showcasing a few unexpected Scottish views, such as Buchanan Street and Inverlael. Madeleine, too, presents a new technique she has mastered of pencil drawings on wood. By etching into Balsa wood and layering coloured pencil over the engravings, she brings an entirely new dimension to her work, offering an intriguing glimpse into the depth of her talent.

While their individual styles may differ, both artists share a remarkable sensitivity to light, texture, and atmosphere, creating a captivating dialogue between tradition and modernity, stillness and motion. Together, their work invites viewers to find the extraordinary in the everyday.

We hope you can visit this special exhibition before it closes on April 12th!
